Transition TransAM Specs

"The TransAM hardtail is our all mountain cromoly hardtail that can be run either singlespeed or with gears using our proprietary dropout system designed by our very own Kyle Young. The bike is designed to be light, fast and strong enough for your everyday all mountain riding. What do we mean by all mountain? All mountain to us encompasses all types of riding, a little mellow DH, XC, light duty freeride, and just good old singletrack riding. For a hardtail to handle all these disciplines you have to be very carefull with your geo as to not make the angles lean towards one single style. For the frame we choose double butted 4130 japanese chromoly. The feel is perfect for trail riding. It absorbs the ground nicely with slight flex but is stiff enough for strong pedal response and whipping around corners."
