Karpiel Holeshot 2010
"The Karpiel Holeshot 2010 mountain bike frame is meant to be one of the best for hardtail racing, and uses CNC machined dropouts and yokes, 6061 hydroformed tubing, while the head tube gussets are designed by Jan Karpiel. As of now, the frame is in “beta” mode and is being tested, so the look of the frame may change. Retail price is unknown, but should be available in Spring 2010."

2010 Intense Tazer VP
Intense has combined their long time commitment to racing with the new 2nd generation VPP suspension platform to create the ultimate gated racing weapon, The New Tazer VP. Designed around the world cup winning geometry that has become synonymous with Intense race bikes over the years, this new design features 80-100mm of adjustable rear wheel travel, a 1.5 headtube and new angular contact bearings with grease ports for ease of maintenance. Based on market feedback, The 2010 Tazer VP will be offered in 2 sizes based on top tube length and 3 colors. This is the same frame raced by overall world cup champion Anneke Beerten, along with Chris Kovarik and the CRC Intense Team, U.S. National Champion Rich Houseman, JD Swanguen, Team Xfusion- Intense and Mio Suemasa. Transition Bike's Factory RaceTeam
"Transition Bikes is pleased to announce the launch of their highly anticipated Factory Race program!
To aid in this new direction Transition has hired Lars Sternberg as an athlete, and team director. Joining Lars on the squad is the world renowned duo of Jill Kintner, and Bryn Atkinson. In her first year racing professional Downhill, Jill will bring the fitness and bike handling skills that have made her an Olympic BMX Bronze Medalist and 4X World Champion to a whole new riding discipline. With many years experience racing at the Elite level, Bryn is a regular top ten finisher in World Cup rounds. Together they will embark on one of the most progressive schedules in 2010. While Bryn will be attacking the downhill World Cup circuit, Jill and Lars will be setting their sights on the North American race scene. In between World Cup rounds Bryn will be returning to join the team for key North American events."
